best places to get hermit crab shells

    The best places to get hermit crab shells arent the hermit section in the pet store, usually when you get them there they dont fit right and are way over priced. Here are some other places to get they for cheaper prices and better value.

    If you need to get them at a pet store look in the aquarium section. There might be some bags of shells for people to put in there aquariums, but i like to use them for my hermies. I got 8 shells for them and clam shells for decoration too.
    When you go to florida its a really good place to find shells and get them for really cheap in most of the stores.
   craft stores usually have bags of shells for candle making and other reasons too.
   thrift stores are good places too if you look hard enough. one time i saw a big bag full of them and i saw a little carrier case that somebody used for hermit crabs and it had 3 shells in it.

    And REMEMBER always boil the shells for 5 minutes after buying.
